Australians Ask for Government Funded Biomedical Research into XMRV
The Quilt for the Prime Minister is Taking Off.
People with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Yuppie Flu, Post Viral Syndrome, Atypical Multiple Sclerosis, Fibromyalgia and Post Poliomyelitis are Uniting for the CAUSE of THEIR LIVES.
A small Support Service on the Sunshine Coast called the ‘Find A Cure’ Club proposed the idea of making a Quilt for the Prime Minister and Australians with MEcfs and FM are making it a reality.
Inspired by the AIDS QUILT in the United States, the Australian Quilt will be displayed around each state in Australia before being presented to Our Prime Minister by the Australian MEcfs.Org
There is a Petition ready for your signature, asking our Government for Funded Biomedical Research into XMRV and Murine Leukemia Viruses in the blood of people with ME CFS FM as well as in our Countries Blood Supply.
These really are exciting times as we see for the first time in decades, a real chance to find a cure.

Thanks so much Sciencevsantiscience.wordpress.com we all do our very best. Including your latest post “The Virus that Time Won’t Erase” citing Simon Wessely as stating for the record … “even if we did find the virus we wouldn’t do anything about it, we’re in the business of rehabilitation”.
No clearer message than that. Wessely is saying he does not care what science finds and prefers the Psychiatric Assistance that states … “Take a Walk & think yourself Healthy”
The best thing the UK could do is take CFS out of his hands and give it to someone who does care what scientists find involved in the pathogenesis of CFS – and care enough to develop treatments to improve quality of life. Thank you so much for all you do X
